Aadhar Card Update and Correction

If you need to update details like name, address, or mobile number, follow these steps:

Steps to Update:

• Open UIDAI website and on the Home page, look for the link that says Update Aadhar Details.

• When applying for correction you should furnish the necessary information like name, address or photograph etc that you want to change.

• Scan and upload next, all relevant documents that will support the application.

• You will be provided with an update request number where you can know the progress of the correction.

For address change you can proof of address utility bill/FA, Passport and/or Voter ID.

Aadhar Card Mobile Number Update:

Undergoing a change of the mobile number associated with an Aadhar card, you have to go to an Aadhar enrollment center.This cannot be done online.

Linking Aadhar Card with PAN Card

To connect Aadhar card with PAN card through internet:
