Under the Government of India, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) introduced SPICe+ as a combined online form for several activities. It is part of the Government’s initiative to ease doing business by simplifying the company incorporation process.
Launched as an improvement over the earlier SPICe form, SPICe+ (SPICe Plus) is a comprehensive application form covering multiple services in a single form. SPICe+ applies to the incorporation of the following business types:
One Person Companies (OPC)
Submit an application for the company name you want to use.
Check name availability.
It may be applied for on its own or included in your Part B information.
Incorporation of the Company
DIN (Director Identification Number) allotment
Mandatory PAN & TAN application
EPFO registration
ESIC registration
Professional Tax (for Maharashtra)
You can open a bank account using selected banks via integration.
GST Registration (optional)
Shop and Establishment Registration (in some states)
Single-window clearance: It allows a business to register with several departments all at once.
Time-saving: Only one filing is required for each taxpayer.
Government-mandated: It is compulsory for new business incorporations set by the government in India.
Online processing: The entire process happens digitally and in an open way.
When submitting a SPICe+ application, the following documents are required.
A PAN Card must be obtained by every Indian national
For citizens of other countries, the passport is needed
Either Voter ID or a Driving License can be used as address proof
Passport-size photograph
Having a lease or documents for property ownership
Approval from the building owner in the form of a No Objection Certificate
Bills for electricity, gas, water and so on that are not more than two months old
