MCA SPICe+ Form Filing

Why was SPICe+ (Simplified Proforma for Incorporating Company Electronically Plus) introduced?

Under the Government of India, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) introduced SPICe+ as a combined online form for several activities. It is part of the Government’s initiative to ease doing business by simplifying the company incorporation process.

Launched as an improvement over the earlier SPICe form, SPICe+ (SPICe Plus) is a comprehensive application form covering multiple services in a single form. SPICe+ applies to the incorporation of the following business types:

Key Features of SPICe+ Form

  • Part A – Name Reservation
  1. Submit an application for the company name you want to use.

  2. Check name availability.

  3. It may be applied for on its own or included in your Part B information.

  • Part B – Company Incorporation
  1. Incorporation of the Company

  2. DIN (Director Identification Number) allotment

  3. Mandatory PAN & TAN application

  4. EPFO registration

  5. ESIC registration

  6. Professional Tax (for Maharashtra)

  7. You can open a bank account using selected banks via integration.

  8. GST Registration (optional)

  9. Shop and Establishment Registration (in some states)

Why SPICe+ is Important?

  • Single-window clearance: It allows a business to register with several departments all at once.

  • Time-saving: Only one filing is required for each taxpayer.

  • Government-mandated: It is compulsory for new business incorporations set by the government in India.

  • Online processing: The entire process happens digitally and in an open way.
